Women dominate this year’s ceremony in all “big Four” categories!
The Grammy Board released the nominees for the coveted 2025 ceremony. This year’s program will feature some exciting moments, and the list of artists is long. The “Big Four” categories (Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year) are highly contended, with music industry titans battling it out. Here are the top 8 Grammy-nominated artists in 2025.

This lesbian artist from Missouri has 6 nominations, including all of the “Big Four” categories. Roan’s album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” has been hailed as one of the best albums of 2024. The single “Good Luck, Babe” has been a staple on the pop charts since its release. The album and single have been nominated for “Album of the Year” and “Song of the Year” (respectively).

Disney star and niece to Bart Simpson voice actor Nancy Cartwright, Sabrina Carpenter made a splash in 2024. Her 6th album, “Short n’ Sweet,” spawned 2 number-one singles on Billboard Hot 100. Carpenter is nominated for 6 Grammys, including the “Big Four” awards of the night.

Swift is continuing her reign of music royalty at this coming Grammy Awards. The pop musician is nominated for 6 awards this year including the “Big Four” awards of the night. Swift is the only artist to win “Album of the Year” 4 times throughout their career. She’ll be nominated for the 7th time in 2025 for the most significant award of the night.
5. Charli xcx
English singer and songwriter Charli XCX’s sixth studio album, “BRAT,” dominated the charts in 2024. Peaking at number one in the UK, Ireland, and Australia, it is Metacritic’s highest-rated album of 2024. Charli XCX is nominated for seven Grammy awards for the 2025 ceremony.

Known for his hip-hop bangers, Post Malone’s country album “F1-Trillion” received rave reviews upon release this year. The multi-genre singer/rapper is nominated for 7 Grammy awards this year. His duets with Taylor Swift and Beyonce are up for the coveted trophies. While his country album listed above is in the running for “Best Country Album.”
3. Billie eilish
Two-time Oscar winner Billie Eilish is nominated for 7 Grammys on music’s biggest night. The singer’s third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” is up for “Album of the Year.” The second single, “Birds of a Feather,” from the album peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is nominated for “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year.” The nine-time Grammy award winner is the second-ever artist to win all “Big Four” awards in a single night.
2. Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar had quite the year in 2024. He is the first rapper picked to headline the Superbowl Halftime in 2025 and the winner of the “Great Rap War” feud with fellow rapper Drake. That rapper battle saw Kdot release his now-iconic diss track “Not Like Us”, solidifying his triumph in the feud and going number-one on Billboard. That same song is nominated for “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year”. If he wins, it’ll be the first time a rap diss track has been Grammy awarded.
1. Beyonce
The woman of the night is no other than Beyonce. The most nominated and awarded artist in Grammy history has 11 nominations for her country album, “Cowboy Carter.” It is Beyonce’s eighth number-one album and broke streaming records upon release. The album and supporting singles are in the running for 3 of the “Big Four” awards of the night, including “Record of the Year” for “Texas Hold’em” and “Album of the Year”. Cowboy Carter is the second most nominated album in Grammy history.
